A day in the life

I've had a pretty eventful couple days, and I haven't even been working. 

I'm a nanny, and when families decide they want a vacation, I get days off. 

So with my days off, I've been becoming a real house wife! 

Cleaning the house, making meals, planting my flower garden, and getting all moved in... (kind of) 

Moving all my stuff in has been my last priority (when it probably should be my first)

Here's what today consisted of. 

I went to William Dyck's to buy a shelf for my bathroom

I went to Monoco (local greenhouse) to buy flowers for my flower beds

I watched my scaredy cat decide if she wants to go outside. I had to force her. Silly thing.

I planted my herbs yesterday in these pretty pots from Dollarama 

My mom helped me plant these flowers in this cute little flower bed in the front yard

I planted these dusty miller today. love them. took me forever to remember their name though. It'll probably take me a while to know the names of plants...

I planted these in boxes in front of our ugly shed. Thought I'd make the ugly shed a little prettier.

And I got my new prescription shades on for the beautiful day!

I made myself a DELICIOUS chicken sandwich with the leftover chicken from last night

I also made a stew for dinner tonight. (so excited about this one)

and of course Lady is always RIGHT by my feet. weirdo. she's been so clingy since we've moved. 

I finished painting our TV stand! I'm also very excited about this because its seriously taken us forever. 

and... i mowed the lawn. which is actually kind of fun. and it looks good, which is exciting!

i hope mike is proud...

He was. A very happy husband came home today :)
